Room (king suite) was very nice with small fridge and microwave. Plenty of towels, etc and very clean. Large flat screen with adequate channels. Nice shower with hot water, unlike other hotels where the temp. seems regulated to warm. The breakfast was quite good, with options including eggs/omelet, sausage, gravy and biscuits, oatmeal, fresh fruit and numerous pastries. They also have an automatic pancake maker which is fun. I was contacted by a manager on the second day, just to check in and see how everything was going. Who does that? Geraldine who manages the breakfast is a sweetheart, always with a bright smile. I go to Port St. Lucy a couple of times a year to visit my grandson/daughter. This was my first time at the Holiday Inn Express, though I have stayed at most of the others. In my humble opinion, this is far and away the best of the lot of mid-range hotels (Hampton, Hilton, Ramada, etc.). I will stay here primarily in the future.

I was only there overnight- basically I just needed a place to sleep and shower. I didn’t get to use any of the facilities because I didn’t have time. But my bed was comfortable and my room was clean. The service at the front desk was friendly and prompt. (Aliyah is the young lady who took care of me and she was very wonderful.) I paid $138 total for the night which I thought was fair. I did see more expensive fares for the same room and I would not have paid those prices. One thing that I did notice though, was when you first walked in the room, there is a peculiar smell, which I think comes from the air conditioner unit. Maybe it’s a filter issue? I’m not saying there was anything wrong with the air conditioner but I did notice a smell and thought you should know.

First and absolutely foremost, I was so very impressed with Camil at check-in. I'm retired from customer service with the airlines and I always held myself to the highest standards. I can honestly say the Camil so surpassed customer service!!! She's off the charts and I just can't even begin to explain: pleasant, accommodating, going above and beyond, sincere, sharp looking, very knowledgeable about the rewards program but not pushy. I've been all over the world and I've seen all kinds of CS. In my book, Camil is the best! Also, Maria at the breakfast buffet did a great job efficiently restocking the breakfast buffet after the high school swim team left. Much appreciated!

The location is great . Walking distance to Denny's, Texas Road House , Outback Steakhouse and Duffys Sports Bar. No traffic noise . Room was super clean ! Staff was very professional. I actually extended my stay because it was so nice here ! Breakfast was above and beyond expectations. Beautiful pool.Overall I could not be any more pleased. Did not want to go home !!

Everyone who works here is extremely friendly and helpful. The whole place was completely spotless. It was very easy access from the interstate, but I heard no interstate traffic. I felt like the people at the front desk did a good job of checking in with me during my stay. I enjoyed the breakfast. The blackout drapes worked so well! Slept like a baby!
